is a distinguished scholar, policy expert, and community leader from New Delhi with decades of service to Muslim educational and cultural institutions at the highest levels of the Indian government. He holds an M.A. and M.Phil. in Political Science from the University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University respectively, and has served in several prestigious roles including Chief Executive Officer of Anjuman-I-Islam Mumbai — one of India's oldest minority organisations managing 97 educational institutions across Maharashtra — and Advisor to the Maulana Azad Education Foundation under the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He also served as CEO-cum-Secretary of the Haj Committee of India, overseeing Haj arrangements for Indian pilgrims from 1994 to 1999, and held senior research positions at the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) under the Ministry of HRD for over 15 years. A prolific author and academic, Shabi Ahmad has presented papers at international conferences in Turkey and Canada, authored multiple books and articles on Indian Muslim politics and history, and contributed Urdu translations for NCERT. He is currently the President of WEDO at New Horizon School, New Delhi, and Founder Director of Zanoveo Health Care Pvt. Ltd.
